This page brings together the centre’s facial and body aesthetic medicine: protocols by skin type, body reshaping and tightening techniques, advanced facial rejuvenation and regenerative therapies.
Which treatment is right depends on skin type, age, state of health, medical history, aesthetic goals and how much time is available for recovery, so medical assessment comes before any recommendation.
For the body we use BodyTite — minimally invasive radiofrequency that dissolves fat and tightens the skin —, mesotherapy, by superficial injection of active substances, and external radiofrequency, which heats the deep dermis and stimulates collagen contraction. These are indicated for mild laxity.
For the face we turn to Morpheus8, which combines microneedling and fractional radiofrequency; FaceTite, offered as an alternative to a surgical lift only in very mild cases; neuromodulators; hyaluronic acid; and platelet-rich plasma, obtained from the patient’s own blood.
Every treatment is carried out under medical direction, with authorised equipment, certified active ingredients and full traceability — the standard that distinguishes a clinic from a conventional beauty salon.
Choosing a body or facial aesthetic treatment is not only a question of beauty, but of health, wellbeing and confidence. At the Instituto de Cirugía Plástica del Mediterráneo (ICPM), in Valencia, we offer a complete range of advanced solutions in aesthetic medicine to improve the quality of the skin, redefine the body contour and treat concerns such as laxity, pigmentation, acne or the signs of ageing.
Treatments are adapted to each skin type and each need, backed by innovative technology, the latest generation of active ingredients and an individual medical assessment.
Below we explain which treatments are available, how they are applied, what benefits they bring and how to choose the one that is right for you.

Body and facial aesthetic treatments are care procedures designed to improve the appearance, texture, firmness and balance of the skin, as well as to reshape the body, reduce localised fat or stimulate regenerative processes. These are not merely cosmetic treatments but personalised solutions that act at cell level and in depth, with a scientific basis and measurable results.
Every skin and every body has its own characteristics. That is why at ICPM we work with a clinical, tailored approach, following protocols supported by scientific evidence, putting patient safety first and using approved technologies such as radiofrequency, biostimulation, microneedling, mesotherapy and neuromodulators.
Not all skin responds in the same way. Our approach is therefore based on personalised protocols with leading medical brands such as SkinCeuticals® and ZO Skin Health®, which offer specific treatments by skin type:
Dry or dehydrated skin: we use formulations that restore the skin barrier, retain moisture and return elasticity to the skin. Hyaluronic acid and natural lipids are key here.
Oily or acne-prone skin: these treatments control excess sebum, reduce enlarged pores and prevent breakouts. Ingredients such as salicylic acid, glycolic acid and niacinamide regulate sebum production without irritating the skin.
Sensitive or reddened skin: anti-inflammatory actives such as allantoin, colloidal oatmeal and centella asiatica calm the skin, strengthen the barrier and reduce reactivity.
Skin with pigmentation or uneven tone: protocols that combine controlled exfoliation with depigmenting actives such as vitamin C and retinoids, for brighter, more even skin.
Ageing skin or skin that has lost firmness: treatments that stimulate collagen and elastin through peptides, antioxidants and technologies such as microneedling or radiofrequency, improving the density, elasticity and tone of the skin.
Body treatments to reshape, tighten and regenerate
Aesthetic body medicine has advanced considerably, delivering visible results, with consistent care and subtle changes, without resorting to surgery in mild cases. At ICPM we use solutions based on radiofrequency, dermal biostimulation and regenerative techniques.
BodyTite®: body redefinition without surgery
BodyTite is a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency to dissolve localised fat and tighten the skin from within. It is used on areas such as the abdomen, arms, back and thighs. Through small cannulas, the deep tissue is heated, the fat is emulsified and collagen is stimulated, producing an effect of firmness and definition.
It is ideal for people with mild skin laxity who do not want to undergo conventional surgery.
Body mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a technique involving superficial injection of lipolytic, draining and firming actives. It is used on areas with localised fat, cellulite or a lack of tone. Microinjection allows the actives to work directly in the subcutaneous tissue, improving cell metabolism and oxygenation.
At ICPM we use formulations with vitamins, minerals, hyaluronic acid and peptides, adapted to each clinical case.
Body radiofrequency
Radiofrequency is a safe technology that heats the deep dermis and stimulates collagen contraction. It is indicated for treating laxity of the arms, buttocks, abdomen and inner thighs. It can be combined with other techniques to enhance the result.
Solutions for advanced facial rejuvenation
In advanced facial aesthetics we work beyond hydration or cleansing. Our treatments act on the deep layers of the skin, activating regenerative processes and tightening the tissues. Among the most notable techniques are:
Morpheus8®
Morpheus8 is a combination of microneedling and fractional radiofrequency. The needles reach the deep dermis and release thermal energy that stimulates collagen and elastin. It is indicated for wrinkles, laxity, acne scarring, enlarged pores and uneven texture.
Results include a marked improvement in firmness, elasticity and radiance from the first session.
Facetite®
Facetite is an alternative to a surgical lift for very mild cases. Through a fine probe inserted under the skin, radiofrequency is applied that heats the subdermal tissue, producing immediate contraction and stimulating collagen. It is particularly useful for redefining the jawline, neck and cheeks.
It offers visible, lasting results with a very quick recovery.
Neuromodulators (BTX)
Neuromodulators relax the muscles responsible for expression lines (forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet) and have clinical applications such as the treatment of bruxism or hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). The effect is natural, with no facial stiffness, and improves the harmony of the face.
Teoxane® and Juvederm® hyaluronic acid
We use highly purified, cross-linked hyaluronic acid to treat loss of volume, folds, under-eye hollows and facial redefinition. Facial redensification with hyaluronic acid improves the structure of the skin, provides deep hydration and restructures areas that have lost support over time.
Regenerative therapies with PRP and microneedling
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous treatment that uses growth factors extracted from the patient’s own blood. It is applied by microinjection or combined with microneedling (Dermapen) to maximise absorption.
PRP stimulates cell regeneration, improves the quality of the skin, adds radiance and helps in the treatment of scarring, acne and ageing.
Microneedling, as well as being a powerful technique in its own right, improves the penetration of actives such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin C or peptides.
Which treatment is right depends on a number of factors: skin type, age, state of health, medical history, aesthetic goals and how much time is available for recovery.
At ICPM we always carry out a full assessment beforehand, taking all these variables into account and applying medical judgement. That assessment allows us to draw up a personalised, step-by-step, safe plan aimed at real, sustainable results.

With an assessment, not with a treatment. It is the most useful advice on this whole page and the one that saves the most money.
The reason is simple: aesthetic treatments are not interchangeable. Each one acts on a specific problem — the movement that etches a wrinkle, the volume that is missing, the quality of the skin, localised fat, laxity — and choosing the treatment before identifying the problem is the most common way of spending without solving anything.
A proper assessment looks at the face or the area in movement, asks about what you have already had done and sets out what needs doing and in what order.
Which treatment goes with which problem?
As a guide — not as a recommendation, which is arrived at by examination —:
And one boundary worth being clear about from the start: when what you have too much of is skin, the answer is surgical. No treatment in this table removes skin.
Which of these are medical procedures and which are not?
It is a distinction almost nobody explains and one that changes where you should have it done.
Medical procedures: anything that breaks the skin or administers a medicine — botulinum toxin, fillers, collagen inducers, platelet-rich plasma, carboxytherapy, medical peels, radiofrequency microneedling, procedures using a cannula. These require a doctor, a medical record, an individual indication and consent.
Not medical procedures in themselves: drainage massage, pressotherapy and much non-invasive equipment-based treatment, although these do have real contraindications and someone should ask about your health before the first session.
Asking who is going to treat you and what qualifications they hold is always reasonable, and especially so in the first group.
Can several treatments be combined?
Yes, and it is the norm, because a face or a body rarely has just one problem. What changes is the order and the interval: some combinations are done in the same session and others are better separated in time because of the recovery each technique needs.
What should not happen is treatments piling up without a plan. A plan means knowing what is treated first, what is expected of each step and when it is reviewed.
What should I ask at any centre, here or anywhere else?
Five questions that cost little and filter a great deal:
Who is going to treat me and what qualifications do they hold?
What product or device will be used, and what class is it?
What happens if there is an unwanted effect, and who will see me?
What does the price include and what is left out?
When is the result reviewed and what happens if it is not what was expected?
A centre that answers all five without hesitation is a centre where these questions have been asked before.
The advantages of going to a specialist clinic
In a sector where treatments without medical supervision are proliferating, the difference between a specialist clinic and a conventional beauty salon is fundamental. At ICPM we work under medical direction, with authorised equipment, certified active ingredients and traceability in every treatment.
We also combine science, experience and technology to offer real solutions, with no false promises or fleeting effects.
Body and facial aesthetic treatments have moved towards regenerative, personalised, minimally invasive medicine. In Valencia, the Instituto de Cirugía Plástica del Mediterráneo offers one of the most complete and rigorous ranges, with solutions for every skin type and every need.
If you are thinking about improving your face or your figure, do not start with the treatment. Start with the diagnosis. The key lies not only in what is applied, but in how, when and why.
