Professional profile

Surgery, research and clinical leadership

Dr Enrique Salmerón González trained as a specialist at the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe in Valencia. He holds a doctorate from the Universitat de València, awarded with distinction cum laude, and works in the public sector at the Hospital Universitario Doctor Peset, where he heads the Plastic Surgery Unit.

His doctoral thesis studied medialisation laryngoplasty using autologous fat grafts. That line of work underpins a practice closely tied to fat transfer, lipofilling and reconstruction with the patient’s own tissue.

In consultation he combines a direct, realistic assessment with surgical planning tailored to each patient, close attention to tissue quality and a clear explanation of the options with and without implants.
