Description
Intensive night-time depigmenting treatment from Skin Clinic. The most potent in its Melanyc line, for pigmentation that is already established.
What it does
It works on several stages of pigmentation at once: kojic acid, arbutin and liquorice slow down melanin production; niacinamide reduces the transfer of pigment to the surface; and glycolic and salicylic acids renew the layer of cells that already carries it. It is formulated as an anhydrous (water-free) gel so that the actives stay stable and are released gradually overnight. The brand reports gradual depigmentation, with a more even tone and more radiance.
Who it is for
Melasma, sun spots, lentigines and the marks left by spots or grazes, on skin that is not irritated. It is a treatment for controlled use: do not combine it with other acids or retinoids without asking us. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with us first. How to use it
At night, on clean, slightly damp skin: spread a small amount over the whole face or only on the areas with pigmentation, massage for 2-3 minutes and leave it on overnight; in the morning, rinse off the excess with water. Start with a few nights a week and build up as tolerated. During treatment, high-factor sunscreen every day: without it, pigmentation comes back.
