Description
Barrier repair cream from AllSkin Med. The cream for the nights when it is NOT a retinol night: it rebuilds the barrier and lowers reactivity while the skin rests.
What it does
When the barrier is broken, the skin loses water, gets irritated by things it used to tolerate and enters a vicious circle: the more irritated it gets, the worse it seals; the worse it seals, the more irritated it gets. Breaking it means replacing lipids and water and temporarily withdrawing whatever is aggravating it.
Its most specific indication is this: it is the cream for the nights when retinol is not used. A retinisation schedule is not every day, and what goes on during the rest days decides whether the schedule is kept up or abandoned after three weeks.
The ceramide and shea butter replenish the lipids that seal the epidermis; the pre/postbiotic complex and plankton extract work on the microbiome and reactivity; and Reoxderm provides the antioxidant side. It contains no retinoids or acids, and that absence is part of the product.
The brand also presents it as a daily anti-ageing moisturiser for mature skin, because its effectiveness against transepidermal water loss applies there too.
Who it is for
Dry, sensitive skin or skin going through retinisation. And after surgery: it is usually the first cream you can go back to.

How to use it
Morning or night, on clean, dry skin, massaging it in to help absorption. It can be used after procedures.
After surgery or a procedure, do not restart actives on your own: we will tell you when to go back to them and with what.
