Description
Gentle hydrating cleanser from AllSkin Med. For skin that feels tight after washing: mild surfactants and humectants built into the formula itself.
What it does
Tightness after cleansing is not a sign of clean skin: it is a sign that the lipids that seal the epidermis have been stripped away. With mild surfactants that does not happen.
The formula includes different kinds of humectant: sodium PCA, part of the skin’s own natural moisturising factor; glycerin, the humectant with the longest history and the most evidence; and panthenol, which also soothes.
Allantoin is a surface repairer with a very mild keratolytic action.
Massage it in for 40-60 seconds, not five: long enough to dissolve, not long enough to irritate.
Who it is for
Normal to dry, sensitive or fragile skin, or skin prone to dryness. Also in winter, when normal skin behaves like dry skin.
