Description
Mineral SPF 50 sunscreen fluid from ZO Skin Health. A 100% mineral filter in a fluid texture, with pigments that prevent the white cast of zinc.
What it does
Zinc oxide is the mineral filter with the broadest spectrum: it covers UVB and all of UVA, including long-wave UVA-1, which is the one most associated with pigmentation and photoageing. Its historical drawback is the white residue, which here is corrected with pigment technology so that it blends into different skin tones.
Plant melanin adds defence against high-energy visible light (HEV), which is no minor detail: in higher phototypes and in melasma, visible light is a proven trigger, and conventional UV filters do not stop it.
ZOX12 provides the encapsulated antioxidant complex, and bisabolol, ethyl ferulate and rosemary add antioxidant and soothing action.
Fragrance-free, which makes it suitable for reactive skin and for use after surgery.
Who it is for
All skin types, and the first choice for sensitive skin, rosacea, melasma or skin that has just been operated on. Mineral filters are the ones that cause the fewest reactions.

How to use it
Shake before use. Apply generously 15 minutes before exposure. It is water- and sweat-resistant and dries quickly with a clear finish, but even so, reapply every 2 hours and after swimming or towelling dry.
A sunscreen only protects if it is applied properly. A generous amount 15 minutes before exposure, reapplied every 2 hours—and after sweating or swimming. No filter replaces shade or clothing.
