From Mesoestetic we bring one specific thing, and it is the one we were missing: stick sun protection for the eye area and the eyelids, where a cream does not stay put, stings or gets into the eye.

It is what we give after a blepharoplasty and after periocular laser, when the eyelid skin has just been treated and is precisely the skin that can least take the sun. Also for recent scars anywhere on the face, for the nose and ears, and for reapplying mid-morning without disturbing your make-up.

The stick format is what makes it possible: it is applied precisely to a small area, does not run into the eye and can be carried in a bag to reapply.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put sun protection on my eyelids?
You should: it is one of the thinnest and most exposed areas of the face. The problem is that ordinary creams migrate towards the eye and sting, which is why many people skip that area. The stick stays where you put it and does not run.
After a blepharoplasty, when can I start using it?
When your surgeon tells you to: it depends on how the wound is healing and whether you have stitches. Ask at your follow-up visit. What you should not do is expose a freshly operated eyelid to the sun without protection, because the scar can stay darker permanently.
Does it also work for scars that are not on the face?
Yes. On a young scar, the sun is the factor most likely to darken it, and the stick is the most convenient way to apply protection every day to a small, specific area without spreading cream all around it.
