Depigmenting SPF 50 sunscreen from SkinCeuticals. It protects and depigments in the same step: broad-spectrum filters plus the two actives with the best profile in hyperpigmentation.
What it does
Treating pigmentation without protecting it from the sun is throwing money away: radiation reactivates the melanocyte faster than any depigmenting agent can switch it off. Putting the treatment inside the sunscreen itself solves the adherence problem, which is where most anti-pigmentation routines fail.
The 1% tranexamic acid acts on the inflammatory pathway that activates melanin production. It is the active that has grown most in melasma protocols in recent years, precisely because it does not cause the rebound or irritation of hydroquinone.
The 2% niacinamide blocks the transfer of pigment already made from the melanocyte to the keratinocyte, and strengthens the barrier along the way. They are two distinct, complementary mechanisms.
The mica adds an immediate optical radiance effect, and the texture is fluid, with no residue.

How to use it
Apply generously to the face, neck and décolletage 15 minutes before exposure and before make-up. Reapply every 2 hours, and always after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, or after towelling dry.
A sunscreen only protects if it is applied properly. A generous amount 15 minutes before exposure, reapplied every 2 hours—and after sweating or swimming. No filter replaces shade or clothing.
