Antioxidant eye gel from SkinCeuticals. The brand’s antioxidant combination, adapted in a gel texture to the thinnest skin on the face.
What it does
The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the body and the first to show lines. It is also the most exposed to environmental damage per unit of thickness, so it is where an antioxidant pays off most.
The combination is SkinCeuticals’ signature: 5% pure vitamin C—less than in a facial serum, because the area cannot tolerate more—1% phloretin and 0.5% ferulic acid. Ferulic acid is not only an antioxidant in its own right: it stabilises vitamins C and E and extends their life in the formula.
Ruscus aculeatus extract—butcher’s broom—has a tradition of use in venous insufficiency and is used here on the appearance of puffiness. Caffeine helps with dark circles.
A note from the manufacturer itself: the product darkening over time is normal in formulas with vitamin C and does not indicate a loss of effectiveness. Once opened, it is best used within 6 months.

How to use it
In the morning, half a dose per eye. Spread it under the eye, at the outer corner and along the brow bone, and pat until absorbed. Do not apply it at the inner corner, next to the tear duct, or on the upper eyelid.
