Description
Exfoliating pads with glycolic and salicylic acid from ZO Skin Health. Chemical exfoliation in pad form: the convenience of one swipe and done, with the effectiveness of an AHA plus a BHA.
What it does
Combining glycolic and salicylic acid covers both fronts of congested skin. Glycolic acid is the AHA with the smallest molecule: it works on the surface, loosening the bonds between corneocytes, which is what brings radiance and evens out texture. Salicylic acid is fat-soluble and gets into the pore.
The pad format has a real advantage: the dose is consistent and the step is quick, so people stick to it. Most at-home exfoliation fails because people give up or overdo it, not because of the formula.
The blend of botanical extracts provides antioxidants, and the pads are made of plant-derived viscose.
Who it is for
Uneven texture, visible pores, dull skin. If your skin is irritated or you have just had a procedure, now is not the time.

How to use it
Sweep one pad over the face, avoiding the eye area. Start on alternate days and adjust according to how your skin tolerates it.
Contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). They can increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun; use sun protection while you use it and for the following week.
Contains alcohol in the formula, which is what lifts oil from the surface. On dry or sensitive skin it can feel tight: it is not the right format.
Never on the same night as a retinoid: alternate the nights. Together they do not add up, they irritate.
