What it does
Repairing a damaged barrier means replacing what it lacks: ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids in proportions similar to the physiological ones. Here ceramide NG, squalane and shea butter cover that part, and polyglutamic acid—a humectant of fermented origin, with a greater water-holding capacity than hyaluronic acid—covers hydration.
The Lactococcus ferment lysate is the “probiotic” part: it is not live bacteria but the product of their fermentation, which is associated with support for the barrier and the skin microbiome.
Acetyl hexapeptide-8 is the peptide known for its action on expression lines. ZO reports clinical improvement in the appearance of ageing on the neck.
