Soothing serum for reactive skin from AllSkin Med. For skin that reddens, stings and burns: it calms the symptom and strengthens the barrier, which is the cause.
What it does
Reactive skin almost always has a compromised barrier underneath. When the stratum corneum does not seal, nerve endings are more exposed, irritants get in and the inflammatory response is triggered by stimuli that other skin would not even notice. That is why treating the redness alone is not enough.
Niacinamide is the central active: it improves ceramide synthesis, reduces transepidermal water loss and has documented anti-inflammatory action. It is one of the few that work on symptom and cause at the same time.
Aquammunist is the brand’s own technology for reactive skin, and the ambora and cherimoya extracts provide the soothing part.
The natural biopolymer with NMF and humectants replenishes the natural moisturising factor, the blend the stratum corneum itself makes to hold water.
If your redness is persistent and comes with papules or pustules, that is rosacea and it has medical treatment: see a doctor about it.

How to use it
Morning and night on the clean, dry face, avoiding the eye area. Massage until fully absorbed.
