Localised compression garments: they compress one specific area rather than a whole region. They are usually the second piece, worn over another garment or at a different stage of recovery.

The chin strap and the otoplasty band are the facial surgery ones: the first supports the jawline and neck after a facelift or submental liposuction; the second keeps the ears in their new position while they heal, and is worn mainly at night.

The breast band goes over the post-surgical bra in the first weeks after augmentation with implants. And the gynaecomastia band and the abdominal band add compression over the vest or the girdle where it is needed most.

They are the most affordable garments in the catalogue, and the ones most often forgotten when preparing for surgery.

Frequently asked questions

Does the band replace the girdle or the bra?
No: it is worn on top. Its job is to add pressure at one specific point, not to compress the whole region. Wearing only the band leaves the rest of the treated area without compression.
How many hours a day is a chin strap or an otoplasty band worn?
It depends on the procedure and the stage, and your surgeon will tell you. Usually it is worn for many hours at first and later only at night, but the specific schedule is the one in your report, not a general one.
Which size should I order for the bands?
The bands come in S, M and L, and are chosen by the circumference of the area in centimetres. Be careful: their scale is not the same as the girdles’. An L band covers a circumference of 110 to 130 cm. Check the chart on the product page and, if in doubt, message us.
