The three pieces almost nobody knows they need until they have surgery.

The brachioplasty sleeves compress the arm after arm liposuction or a brachioplasty; they have a zip, which is what makes it possible to put them on while the arm is still swollen and does not bend well.

The lumbar/abdominal board is a rigid panel placed under the girdle so that the compression reaches the area evenly: without it, the elastic fabric adapts to the folds and leaves gaps where it does not compress.

And Epifoam is the foam placed between the skin and the girdle in the first weeks: it spreads the pressure, absorbs, and stops the seams and hooks from marking freshly operated skin.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is Epifoam for, if I am already wearing the girdle?
So that the girdle compresses evenly and does not leave marks. Elastic fabric resting directly on swollen skin adapts to the folds, leaving gaps without pressure and edges that dig in. The foam spreads the pressure, and it also absorbs.
Can the board and the foam be washed?
The board is cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap, and dried before putting it back on. The foam is for single, extended use: it is replaced when it loses thickness or gets dirty, and it does not go in the washing machine.
Why do the sleeves have a zip?
Because a freshly operated, swollen arm will not go into a closed sleeve, and forcing it by pulling is the worst thing you can do to an operated area. The zip is closed once the sleeve is on.
