Description
Reinforced thigh and knee garment, without the abdomen. When the liposuction has been on the legs only, a garment with an abdominal panel is surplus to requirements.
What it is for
After liposuction or body contouring surgery there is a space between the skin and the deep layer that the fat used to occupy. Compression does three things there at once: it reduces oedema by pushing fluid towards the lymphatic system, it keeps the layers in contact so that fluid does not collect between them—which is what forms a seroma—and it helps the skin adapt to the new contour instead of being left loose.
The fourth function is the one people mention least and appreciate most: the garment supports. In the first few days, moving without anything holding the area hurts considerably more.
A garment with an abdominal panel squeezes where it is not needed and gets in the way: it is uncomfortable when sitting, digs into the waist and is harder to wear, so it ends up being used less. And a garment that is not worn does not compress.
This one covers the saddlebags, thighs and knees, and nothing else. It has reinforcements, so it compresses firmly. It is also the garment for a thigh lift.
When to wear it
The usual pattern is to wear it day and night for the first 3 or 4 weeks, taking it off only to shower, and then to wear it during the day only for a few more weeks. This is a guide: the exact pattern depends on the surgery, and your surgeon will set it at your follow-up visit.
What it is like
- No abdominal coverage.
- Reinforcements on the thighs and knees.
- Triple row of hooks at the front and a urogenital opening.
- Accepts 13-hook extenders.
- 🔎 Because of the reinforcements: if your measurement falls right on the border between two sizes, take the larger one.
Washing and care
By hand or on a delicate cycle, in cold or lukewarm water with mild soap. No bleach, fabric softener, tumble dryer or radiator: heat destroys the elastic, and a garment without elastic no longer compresses. Dry it flat, in the shade. If you are going to wear it 24 hours a day, it is practical to have two.
Tighter is not better. A garment that leaves deep marks, causes numbness or tingling, or changes the colour of the skin is compressing too much and can do harm. If this happens, loosen it or move to the loosest row of hooks, and let us know.
Not sure which size to order or how long to wear it? Ask us: the garment and the number of weeks are decided by your surgeon, according to the procedure you have had.
Size guide
For this garment, the waist and thigh are what determine the size.

| 75 (XXXS) | 58-64 | 85-90 | 46-49 |
| 80 (XXS) | 64-68 | 90-95 | 49-52 |

The waist decides; the hip and thigh are the check.
