What it does
Oily skin has a problem of its own that no other vitamin C serum addresses: sebum oxidises. When surface squalene is oxidised by radiation and the environment, it generates comedogenic and inflammatory compounds that play a part in acne breakouts and in ageing.
Silymarin, extracted from milk thistle, is a plant antioxidant with an affinity for that lipid fraction: that is the logic of the formula. The brand reports up to 76% less sebum oxidation.
On top of that, the brand’s classic combination—15% pure vitamin C and 0.5% ferulic acid—and 0.5% salicylic acid, which refines pores and reduces the formation of blemishes.
In its trial it reports 27% fewer blemishes, a 38% improvement in texture and a 25% improvement in skin clarity.
Who it is for
Oily or acne-prone skin that wants a potent antioxidant without it feeling greasy or clogging pores. It is the alternative to C E Ferulic for this skin type.

How to use it
In the morning, after cleansing and toning, 4-5 drops on the dry skin of the face, neck and décolletage, before your other products. Finish with sunscreen.
Contains salicylic acid (BHA). If you notice dryness or peeling, space out the applications. Do not use it on damaged or irritated skin.
